Announced at the French Ministry of Economics, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty during a ceremony attended by AI minister Clara Chappaz, our presence highlights the group’s status as one of France’s most committed and visionary companies.
Johannesburg 2025: Working together to tackle the world's major entrepreneurial challenges

A global initiative for fairer, more sustainable business

Every year, ahead of the G20 political summit, another event takes place in parallel: the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (YEA).
Over 400 entrepreneurs from G20 member countries attend, working together on the major global challenges facing business owners and coming up with practical recommendations for governments.
The topics raised extend far beyond traditional economic issues, including inclusive growth, ecological transition, responsible innovation, sustainable job creation, and intergenerational cooperation.
The theme of the 2024 summit in Rio de Janeiro was clear: “Building a just world and a sustainable planet”.
In 2025, this ambition remains at Johannesburg, with attendees focusing in particular on business solutions for regions, the climate, employment, and the ability to live together.
An inspirational French delegation
The French delegation, whose members have been chosen by Citizen Entrepreneurs every year since 2007, is made up of 24 SMEs, mid-sized companies and startups that embody the wealth, creativity, and responsibility of the French business ecosystem.
Wearth Group joins a group of stakeholders from a variety of sectors—industry, technology, health, logistics, digital, and services—that all have one major aspect in common: their commitment to CSR.
Wearth Group, an industrial model supporting the transition
Being selected to represent France is a source of pride, but also a collective responsibility.
“Being chosen isn’t just recognition of our international scope. It’s also a strong signal to all those who believe that we can take another path. A path where businesses are not just economic drivers, but tools for achieving social and environmental transformation,” says Laurent Gasiglia, CEO of Wearth Group.
Built around our aim to combine progress and the planet, growth and awareness, performance and meaning, Wearth Group has a clear goal: to develop sustainable industrial solutions, on land and on the water, that enable people to live in harmony within their ecosystems.

Ensuring a different voice is heard on the international stage
As part of the G20 YEA, Wearth Group is committed to playing an active part in attendees’ collective work, sharing its experience as a purpose-driven company.
“We believe in business taking action, locally and globally. At our own level, we already have the tools to provide practical responses to immense challenges: supporting ecological transition, restoring natural spaces, improving the resilience of local areas, enabling access to water, minimizing energy use, and more,” adds Laurent Gasiglia.
Our model has already taken shape within the group through entities such as Poralu Marine, The Searial Cleaners, BioPratic, Spisea, and Conicio.
A collective business adventure built on commitment
The G20 YEA summit will also be an opportunity for Wearth Group to hold dialog with other entrepreneurs from all over the world, forge new partnerships, and help to build public policies that better reflect the realities on the ground.
“Business remains one of the last ways of shaping society. It’s a source of bonds, of solutions, of balance. We need to operate in keeping with that role,” Laurent Gasiglia concludes.
