by the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, under the scientific direction of ISPRA (Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale).<br \/><br \/>Its goal is to digitize and standardize biodiversity monitoring within Italy's 11 marine protected areas (Aree Marine Protette) to improve how environmental data is collected, integrated and developed to collect, centralize, and analyze scientific data from marine protected areas. These include: \n<ul>\n<li>temperature;<\/li>\n<li>salinity;<\/li>\n<li>dissolved oxygen;<\/li>\n<li>conductivity;<\/li>\n<li>chlorophyll a;<\/li>\n<li>phycoerythrin.<\/li>\n<\/ul><br>On the surface, other instruments measure the swell as well as wind speed and direction.
