Rotax Marine launches its range of modular docks

A long-standing manufacturer of unsinkable floats and floating solutions, Rotax Marine – a Wearth Group subsidiary – is expanding its offering with a new range of modular docks and jet ski platforms.

Made in the Ain department of France using 100% recyclable polyethylene, its equipment meets the needs of harbors, local governments, industry, and watersports fans alike.

The docks are designed to last, providing a practical solution to growing demand for scalable, durable solutions in the European market.

A technological and industrial partnership

To develop the new range, Rotax Marine partnered with Snap Dock, a leading American player in floating modular systems.

The partnership, which has been formalized through an exclusive license for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, combines American design with French manufacturing.

Rotax Marine carries out all production in its plant in Port, Ain, and distributes the finished products across the EMEA region.

Innovation, simplicity, and performance

Rotax Marine has designed its modular docks to be easy to transport, install, and remove, while ensuring exceptional resistance over time.

The rotomolded polyethylene shells are formed of a single piece, with no seams or glue, ensuring better watertightness and a high-quality finish.

The connectors are made from TPV composite rubber from the automotive sector, offering unrivaled flexibility and strength – they absorb shocks, limit wear, and ensure modules can reliably be assembled, even in environments that present severe mechanical challenges.

Two dock models—1 x 1.5 m and 1.5 x 2 m – and a 4.3 m jet ski platform (in two sections for easier handling) make up the initial range.

These modular components can be combined with and supplemented by multiple accessories, including mooring cleats, railings, ladders, gangways, and stylish finishings, for extra details that improve facilities’ safety, practicality, and appearance.

Multiple applications, from marinas to industry

Rotax Marines are “anywhere, anytime” solutions that can be adapted to suit every environment and application:

· Harbors and marinas: moorings for small and medium-sized pleasure boats, nautical events, and seasonal sailing areas.

· Leisure: watersports areas, campsites, floating swimming pools, and waterside festivals and events.

· Maritime industry and construction: pumping platforms, work barges, pipelines, floating farms, and civil and military protection.

· Local government: walkways, bathing areas, floating developments, and floating leisure and observation spaces.

Their modular design means layouts can be adjusted to suit multiple seasons and applications, with no heavy work or complex logistics required. They offer a simple, robust, adaptable solution for permanent and temporary solutions alike.

Made in France

Rotax Marine is based in Port, Ain, and has been making floats, buoys, and other floating solutions that have been exported around the world since 1999.
The company is committed to supporting the environmental transition, exclusively using 100% recyclable materials, and has produced the equivalent of 150,000 tons of floating components in 25 years.

With an eight-year warranty, these new modular docks reflect Rotax Marine’s desire to design long-lasting, visually appealing, and accessible products while maintaining a local industrial presence.

“This new range reflects our desire to go even further in the solutions we offer to our customers, in France and around the world. It’s a real development opportunity built on responsibility, robustness, and adaptability,” explained Christophe Sauné, Wearth Group Growth Director.
